sometimes a simple, humble and monotonic thing attracts me much..

who cares purity or modesty nowadays.. ??
we might visit a museum of anthropology sort of place
to find the value of the meaning..

but i do care sometimes though never always..

still managed to be part of the mother tree
the leaves had been hardly shattered by the stormy wind
during the whole night..

all of a sudden , one leave was blown away into the darkness
then, two, three... countless..
leaves were being scattered away in every other directions..
getting back to where they'd come from..
like dust in the wind..

so do i will.. sooner or later..
.. under the sheath of time..

제 어미 나무에 겨우 겨우 붙어있었던 나뭇닢들이
늦은 밤 내내 태풍같은 바람에 세차게 흔들리고 있었다.

그러다 한닢이 바람에 날려 어두움 속으로 살아지고..
그리곤, 다음 잎, 다음 잎..
셀 수 없는 잎들이 사방으로 흩어져
그들이 왔던 곳으로 돌아갔다..
마치 먼지처럼..

조만간 나 역시 세월에 칼날 앞에..
그렇게 먼지처럼 스러져 갈것을..

Actually a mobile garden for my exercise & pleasure.

Exercise?
Yes, for bringing all of them in & out to & from my shop
every morning & night.
And the arrangement & layout of the flowers
totally depend on the snapshot of my mind
in the morning of the day. :-p

As I admire them much
over their beautiful & elegant colors of nature,
they are proud of me as well
since I mostly feel a minute wave
of acoustic vibration originated from them..

Now Banner is ON !! : Wolfrey Party, Wolfrey Avenue Broadbiew Toronto Jun 7 2009

Under the banner people will gather tomorrow to have lots of fun and share their beautiful memories around the avenue. I'm just putting couple of frames on the wall for proof of concept for my small exhibition for tomorrow.

祝際 I Grew Up on Wolfrey Ave: 1959 - 2009, Sat June 6th, 2009

There will be a community festival this Saturday on Wolfrey Avenue for 50 years anniversary. The avenue will be blocked for the whole day for the dedicated fun with music, dancing, demonstrations, and eating & drinking, of course. Peter was designated as an 'official' photographer for this event by the event originator & planner, Jerry who grew up on the avenue, and a small & casual exhibition of my photos will be held adding a little more fun. After the event, photos will be posted on my blog so that anybody can download at anytime.. :-)

Good neighbors for my Corner Garden, Wolfrey Broadview Toronto Jun 2 2009

My neighbors in Wolfrey avenue just made the garden in my corner place today. It's a voluntary program among the people living in the avenue to make garden for greener living environment. Last year I did the gardening myself alone without any perennial except lavenders and tulips. All others were grassy flowers. Today Jim, a real gardener, and other two neighbors brought bunch of perennial plants of ferns, ivy, dragon plant etc, bags of black soil, and even a couple small rocks with all the tools for gardening and did the good job with excellence. What a joy to live with the good neighbors!!!
