Legends of the fall, High Park Bloor W. Toronto Nov 8 2010

I look up the trees still possessing tremendous number of yellowish leaves and I see the countless number of fallen leaves on earth returning to their origin of mother nature..

Although nobody can count all the colorful memories of each leaf, a good ecological harmony of the forest as a whole has been being well maintained this year as well. And it goes as an another new page of the glorious legends of the fall.. in this High Park.

i just encountered this joyful Pierrot when i was strolling around the city early in the morning.

the artifact might be created by a playful artisan for the encouragement of festive spirit of visitors.

there wasn't a speck of cloud in the sky
and it's more than warm even in the early morning.

it was just a blessing.. which was very much generous.. :-)

i went down to the 'Lower Town' in Old Quebec city
where there were lots of attractive cafe, restaurants, shops and galleries..

somebody might get some free breakfast at Tiffany.
no jealousy though..

i'm just trying to enjoy the very presence
of the symbolic exuberancy of capitalism.. :p

actually what i really liked was
the chic style of the wall painting of Tiffany
for their jewel polishing work inside..

Passing lots of people after work
heading home in a hurry
along with a long queue of red tail lights,

I just stopped to look up..
to find your solitude as well as mine
living in town..
not many leaves of our season left..

들뜬 마음으로 퇴근길을 서두르는
많은 사람들과 차량으로 붐비는
도심 한복판을 하염없이 걷다가..
문득 바라본 검은 하늘엔..

너의 고독이.. 그리고 내 고독이
대롱대롱 바람에 흔들리고 있더군..

그나마 얼마남지도 않은 그 쓸쓸함들이..

뒷골목 Behind the Scene in the Downtown, Insadong Jongro Seoul Korea Jul 21 2009

Entanglement is always coexistent in the right behind
the clear cut facades of the pompous skyscrapers in the city.

For me it gives some level of comfort and feeling of balance
as life goes with the disarrangement and disorder
based on its inevitable complexity..

I see a man walking solely out of the back alley
and I feel sort of comradeship in life with him
than anybody else wearing silky dark suit with nice shirt
entering & disappearing to a gorgeous office building
through the glassy revolving door.. as I mostly used to do..

뒷골목의 뒤엉킴은
언제나 번쩍거리는 도시 경관의 바로 뒤에서 공존한다.

삶이 기본적으로 어쩔 수 없는 복잡성 위에서
무정돈하고 무질서한 채로 진행되는 만큼
이러한 뒷골목은 내게 어느 정도의 위안과 균형의 느낌을 갖게 한다..

골목에서 홀로 걸어나오는 한 남자를 보며
더한 삶의 동료의식을 느낀다.
번쩍거리는 양복에 멋진 셔츠를 차려입고
고층 사무빌딩의 회전문으로 사라져 들어가는..
나 역시 주로 그러했던.. 전형적 도시인들 보다도..

I am always happy to go with them.

열심히 일하는 사람들의 인생은 아름다워.
어디서 무슨 일을 하던.. 안그래?
저 자부심 가득한 웃음 좀 봐..!
