I find myself feel more attractive to those old day technologies
like steam engine, combustion engine, gears,springs, wooden wheels, wheel spokes..etc.. as I am getting old..
No more electronics.. no more silicons I like.. as I used to do..

The cannon is mounted on the table for 360 degree of rotation. Usually weaponry system for defense needs lots more creativity for invention than the one for offence. Rather than putting more cannons for other fixed positions of different direction, they devised the table which gives much more versatility in quickly covering any angle.
But how dare could I imagine the feelings of those soldiers who rotated, loaded, aimed and fired the cannon balls to the enemy who were encroaching already tens of feet aways only to kill them...
