a Community of Beautiful Turbans, Philip Nathan Square City Hall Toronto Apr 26 2009
Just by chance, I was a part of the gathering of the people with beautiful turbans. They were celebrating the birthday of their saint. They prepared all the good traditional foods of India and shared with everybody like me, just a visitor without any turban.. mmm.. food again.. :p
Usually vendors sell food at the festival or whatever gathering. But this Indian community, they prepared their own food for share and actually they encouraged other visitors to try. I felt invited and of course I was very happy but they looked happier. Inviting somebody for sharing teas or food is really noble behavior only human can do with good spirit.

雪氷 Snow Snow Snow on Ice, City Hall Queen Toronto Jan 17 2009
We have been enjoying as low temperature as -22C couple of days this week with wind-chill lower than -30 C. Simply.. it's winter in Toronto. Not a surprise.
Snow started tonight, Saturday Jan 17, allowing city mood bit milder and much whiter of course.. People in the ice link in the very middle of downtown Toronto looked very healthy and happy.. I've never ever fed up with snow.. I even love shoveling.. free of charge exercise. : )

顔 Which one is yours?, Green Man Old City Hall Toronto Nov 23 2008
I love to see green man one by one in detail.
What a variety of faces..
It looks like that the sculptor liked to express typical stages of our life.
Pain, Happiness, Anger, Desire, Grief. etc..
Crying, Laughing, Teasing, Frowning, Surprising, Discouraging etc..
But most of all, crying and angry faces are dominent.. just as our life does..
Statistics say that we laugh less than 20 days only out of whole 70 years, i.e., 25,550 available days..
The Green Men sculptured on the Old City Hall looked very much sophiscated and have great artistic value as well I am sure. Really nice to invest time to take a look at the all the details.
