色卽是空 Being is from Not-Being and vice versa, Younggooksa Temple Youngdong Korea 2006

..indifference, oblivion, detachment, independence.. vanity.. hollowness.. those familiar words I bear..
'It is indeed an opinion strangely prevailing amongst men, that houses, mountains, rivers, and in a word all sensible objects have an Existence Natural or Real, distinct from their being perceived.' 1710 George Berkeley..

  1. 'strangely prevailing' is indeed an apt description :-)

I love the colours and the shapes... reminds me of Japan, of course, I get nostalgic now... I lived there for 3 years, and miss it terribly. we don't have maples in romania.

  2. Hi Roxana, I like the expression too. We do the thing like that quite often.. Yes the scenes might be more than enough to remind you living in Japan. I visited cities in Japan many times but never lived. You might know the country better than me.
