Mars rover Opportunity gave us a opportunity to assemble the photos of sunset on Mars which is light bluish grey with white pale sun cause there is no layer of atmosphere to scatter the sunlight for yellow-red sunset of low frequencies. I do know how beautiful planet we have been living on. And I really appreciate the ability of eyes of human being over the sensibility of all the spectrum of the visible light of rainbow colors.. Thanks God, it's a real gift along with all those you've allowed us.

Metaphoric Space and Time, Univ of Toronto Feb 25 2009
I was looking forward to finding a building for Jazz Concert by the members of Univ of Toronto. And I found that I needed to traverse all across the university. Walking in the winter night in campus at very mild temperature around zero was so refreshing and retrospective.. and even spiritual.. :p

Che and Love for Humanity, AMC Cinema Yonge-Dundas Toronto Feb 25 2009
Seeing movie 'Che' strengthened me of his image as a humanist not only as a revolutionist. He answered 'Love.. Love for humanity' being asked by interviewer for the most critical factor for the success of revolution. The run time of the movie was more than four hours (257min) and there was an intermission even and it was a good break for smoking. The movie has been on roadshow from last Dec. starting from the States.
After movie, I had sighed upon my thought.. Che revolutionized Cuba and kept on going with his heroic activities for the people in other countries and was shot to death in the middle of another revolution of his own.. on the other hands.. I have been still struggling with my own personal revolution.. Oh poor Peter..
* Followings I captured some images of revolution from the booklet of the movie 'Che' starred by Benicio Del Toro..

Ernesto "Che" Guevara (June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967), commonly known as Che Guevara, El Che, or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist Revolutionary, politician, author, physician, military theorist, and guerrilla leader. After death, his stylized image became a ubiquitous counter cultural symbol worldwide.
As a young medical student, Guevara traveled throughout Latin America and was transformed by the endemic poverty he witnessed. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to conclude that the region's ingrained economic inequalities were an intrinsic result of monopoly capitalism, neocolonialism, and imperialism, with the only remedy being world revolution. This belief prompted his involvement in Guatemala's social reforms under President Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán, whose eventual CIA-assisted overthrow solidified Guevara's radical ideology.
Later, in Mexico, he met Fidel Castro and joined his 26th of July Movement. In December 1956, he was among the revolutionaries who invaded Cuba under Castro's leadership with the intention of overthrowing U.S.-backed Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. Guevara soon rose to prominence among the insurgents, was promoted to Comandante, and played a pivotal role in the successful two year guerrilla campaign that deposed Batista. Following the Cuban revolution, Guevara reviewed the appeals of those convicted as war criminals during the revolutionary tribunals, ratifying sentences which in some cases utilized firing squads. Later he served as minister of industry and president of the national bank, before traversing the globe as a diplomat to meet an array of world leaders on behalf of Cuban socialism. He was a prolific writer and diarist, composing a seminal manual on the theory and practice of guerrilla warfare, along with an acclaimed memoir about his motorcycle journey across South America. Guevara left Cuba in 1965 to incite revolutions first in an unsuccessful attempt in Congo-Kinshasa and later in Bolivia, where he was captured with the help of the CIA and executed.
Both notorious as a ruthless disciplinarian who unhesitatingly shot defectors and revered by supporters for his rigid dedication to professed doctrines, Guevara remains a controversial and significant historical figure. As a result of his perceived martyrdom, poetic invocations for class struggle, and desire to create the consciousness of a "new man" driven by "moral" rather than "material" incentives, Guevara evolved into a quintessential icon of leftist-inspired movements. Paradoxically and in contradiction with his ideology, Che's visage was also reconstituted as a global marketing emblem and insignia within popular culture. He has been mostly venerated and occasionally reviled in a multitude of biographies, memoirs, books, essays, documentaries, songs, and films. Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century, while an Alberto Korda photograph of him entitled Guerrillero Heroico, was declared "the most famous photograph in the world."

Time frosts over all the black hairs.., Myungdong Downtown Seoul Korea Summer 2006
As far as TIME is concerned
I have no choice but to envisage a portrait of Einstein
of course with his beautiful theory of relativity
..the cruel forward-looking-only dimension of time..
On the other side of humane & romantic world
Shakespeare comes into my mind
with his sonnet saying.. Time flies like an arrow..
How many times I'd looked at my watch, mobile phone or clock on laptop screen when I worked for the company in the metropolitan city of Seoul, Korea. Though I was good at managing time for work, still time was sort of my master controlling myself sitting on top of my head.

Being is from Not-Being and vice versa, Younggooksa Temple Youngdong Korea 2006
..indifference, oblivion, detachment, independence.. vanity.. hollowness.. those familiar words I bear..
'It is indeed an opinion strangely prevailing amongst men, that houses, mountains, rivers, and in a word all sensible objects have an Existence Natural or Real, distinct from their being perceived.' 1710 George Berkeley..

Totally Stuffed while Waiting.., People Waiting for Elevator, Cinema House Shinchon Seoul Korea 2006
Every second we process infinite number of snapshots of images, tastes, sounds, smells, touches and comprehensive feelings through sensory organs and properly or improperly react for survival. Most of the things processed somehow in the brain cells evaporate away into the deep dark huge box of Pandora of oblivion. But sometimes, something or some feeling has been mummified and been recalled whenever the thing meets the condition of remembrance. Sometimes it's really marvelous to get invoked a thing so vividly. Reality is as we get older we have more things & more time to recall than react or restore..

Who said spring is around the corner??, Danforth Toronto May 2008
Last couple of weeks we had quite warm days with some rain so we might be spoiled too much. Today temperature went down to -10C. Now with wind getting stronger, windchill temperature goes easily down to -20C I guess. No surprise.. We are still in late Feb which is one of the most frigid months in season. But couple of weeks later anyway we will start to see buds forming and start to hear birds singing..
A Firework.. Humble but Pretty, Victoria Day Riverdale Park Toronto May 24 2008
Victoria Day is a Canadian statutory holiday celebrated on the last Monday before or on May 24 in honour of both Queen Victoria's birthday and the current reigning Canadian sovereign's birthday.
Last May in Victoria Day people said there would be big firework around CN tower at 10 in the night so I was waiting at the park of excellent vista point where I could oversee the whole area around CN Tower in the downtown with all the required things ready for night shots. Seriously.. I attached my Olympus on top of Manfrotto tripod which is best in breeds and set ISO number as finest one and checked & optimized exposure time for best night shot. Holding remote controller in one hand and keeping watching around CN tower I'd been waiting almost 30 minutes after 10. But nothing happened. Nobody in the park. Silence.. and silence..
Then suddenly after something bizarre sound of --zzz-zzz---, I had a very small but very pretty fireworks. Couple of people in the dark in the middle of the park started celebrating the day with handful set of fire sticks. It wasn't bad at all. Though not lasted long, I enjoyed the decent firework much without anybody, only with tiny stars above..
