Snow started tonight, Saturday Jan 17, allowing city mood bit milder and much whiter of course.. People in the ice link in the very middle of downtown Toronto looked very healthy and happy.. I've never ever fed up with snow.. I even love shoveling.. free of charge exercise. : )

雪氷 Snow Snow Snow on Ice, City Hall Queen Toronto Jan 17 2009
We have been enjoying as low temperature as -22C couple of days this week with wind-chill lower than -30 C. Simply.. it's winter in Toronto. Not a surprise.

樂 Looking for Good Bar, Kensington Spadina Toronto Dec 27 2008
Every Saturday I am on my way searching for good bars with live concert.. I found couple of bars in the back street of Kensington Market performing Surf Rock or just Elvis style Rock.
It's quite handy to be there. No reservation, no big money, no dress code.. just casual. I might have a luck to find a seat from start but usually I need to stand in the back. And after a while with couple of beers I could find some seat. Draft beer or sparkling apple wine with $5~$7 each is good enough for budget spending.

餘明 at the dawn at my balcony , North York Oct 17 2008
Morning has just broken..
How many mornings I've been appreciating
and how many more will come for me..
24 hours of cycle has been an awesome amount of time.
What if we have 48 hours a day or 6 hours only for a day..
More relaxed or every time in a hurry..?
Every morning I feel like
this is perfect time to restart for a day for 24 hours..
Thanks god it's another morning allowed for me.
No matter what situation I face to overcome..

夜 Le Noir, Bayview DVP South Toronto Apr 30 2008
When it comes to night
city starts to get awakening
not in here Toronto
but for the cities like Hong Kong, Seoul or Tokyo, Mumbai, Saigon...
Sometimes I miss the cities in the night in the Asia.

幻影 Mirage.., Little Parince and his Dog Marina Beach Chennai Tamil Nadu India 16 Jun 2006
a boy and a dog were approaching to my side
when I adjust my angle for shooting..
I didn't know at the time that
this shot will be one of my favorite shots out of those couple of thousands photos taken in India.
I like the misty mood of the beach with the golden hue of soft sands all around.
And I like the boy with the dog which remind me of "Little Prince".
Though the boy looked very humble and bare-footed
and the companion is not a fox instead a dog,
the mood I saw was kind of something in the fable for adults..

華雨 Golden Rain for Peace Everywhere in 2009, Broadview Oct 27 2008
I wish..
we have beautiful golden rain everywhere in this small planet..
for the proliferation of all the living things on earth..
by baptizing everybody for peace..
beyond their country boundaries
beyond their colors of skin
beyond their ideology
and beyond their religion..

and beyond their religion..
The photo was taken in the sudden shower
with the golden twilight as a background light..

迎 Image of 2009 - Bubble of Hope of Blue, Kensington Market Toronto Oct 18 2008
In such a tiny soap bubble,
we see everything of sky, clouds and the sun.. a universe..
I want to be more bluish and transparent..
and little bit more matured.. not too much though.. in 2009.
