骨格譽讚 Who designed the Gorgeous Anatomical Structure!!??, Image Processed with Photos taken at ROM: Royal Ontario Musium Toronto May 30 2009

The hostile environment hardly to survive might have made them bigger, faster, sharper and stronger.. though the things totally went upside down at the end of their time by external force caused by bombardment of comets on earth..
Ironically only tiny & hairy marsupials survived in the end maybe because they were more enduring against freezing weather and they were more efficient in digesting & converting food into energy and even they were tiny enough to survive with small amount of food..

太古的先輩生物 T-Rex and his Colleagues.., ROM Toronto May 28 2009

When I went to the world biggest museum of Smithsonian in Washington D.C., I spent all of my time only in Natural History Museum out of almost 50 different museums. And I found how attractive works people in the paleontology have been doing for the identification of behavioral details of those extinct creatures long long time ago... couple of tens of million years ago.. I say..

It was really amazing to go through the description on those huge dinosaurs. How they mated, what kind of habitats they maintained, how they digested, how fast they ran to catch a prey... Every possible conceivable details were there for the mysterious monsters with the real scale skeletons.

Yesterday, on a rainy day, I went to the museum in here Toronto. Though the size of the museum is not comparable with the one in Washington at all, the display of the skeletons was excellent and self-explanatory for the Jurassic dominants.

Amazing, amazing!!! Amazingly unbalanced huge skull!!! Amazingly huge eye hole for super-sight!! Amazingly unique panel of horn for stabilization of flight!! What an amazingly sharp, huge, long beak!!!! Wow...

Actually since the center of mass of the flying monsters was nearly on the head side, they needed to use the long wings as arms to stand and walk.

What a fantasy I could dream over the skeleton of the early Jurassic monsters.. The novelistic way of naming makes me go crazy as well..
Xiphactinus!!! Sounds like a name of brother-in-law of Augustinus.. :-)

自殺共和國 Suicide Republic of Korea: the Unhappiest Country in the World

What a really touching picture I found in the Globe and Mail this morning... Out of the context of the tradegy, it's a photography of excellence...

어느 산골 소년의 사랑 이야기..

I utterly have no word to say on this statistics...
Now even a former president wasn't free from the symptom of urging people to kill themselves..
Alas.. and shameful...

Ridiculous educational system makes kids to start searching suicide partners. Jobless graduates kill themselves out of no hope. Devastated movie stars hung their necks over the malicious cyber-attacks based on false rumor. Innocent farmers have no choice but to drink pesticide over the free-trade of grains and meats on a global basis...

But only group of politicians have been immune to the symptom except the former president. No matter how much money they had been bribed, no matter how many people they had killed to get the power, no matter how much pain people in the country have been suffering from their stupid initiatives & dirty struggles among themselves.. they just don't matter.. and they never die...

生死一如 May God save his soul... late former predisent Roh Moo-Hyun in South Korea, Toronto May 23, 24 2009

We will Remember You..

** Biking grandfather for his grand-kids in his home town couple of months ago...

I've been feeling really sorry and bad bad..bad....over the tragic news of suicide of former president in Korea yesterday. He just left the last message to his fatherland by taking the extreme action.. at the age of 63..

I voted him 6 years ago for his presidency. I was admired by his clean image and challenging spirit at that time. He became a lawyer by passing qualification exam without any university courses and got into parliament as a congressman and finally came to presidency without any supporting infrastructure of political arena. So his election was kind of great victory of grass root people. And all along his incumbency, cleanness was his motto for his leadership. But right after he got back to his hometown as a layman, bribery case against him was exploited by government authorities and they found all of his family members had been related to the corruption scandal though the amount of money is not quite as big as far as all-mighty presidential power is concerned in Korea. And the fact incurred him a fatal damage on his ideological idea and dignity...

He was a warrier against geographical bias, against who have too much, against right-wing ideology, and against whatever it's too much. His ideological slogan when he got back home was 'for the world where people live'. As much as he was too pure & radical in leading the country against never-changing socio-political practices, he & his staff made lots of mistakes naturally. But admitting the fact, he was still proud of what he've done as a predisent believing that he was still morally immacurate.
I have no intention to advocate him at all for his improper handling of his staffs, sponsors and his family around the scandal but the mean nature of yellow journalism of conservative media and retaliatory actions of incumbent party were far too much. It's just as mean & cruel as witch hunting. And the systemic inadequacy around presidential power has been making the chronicle corruption things happen again and again for last half a century in my country.

.. In his suicide note, he was saying that '.. Don't be too sad.. Life and death are all parts of nature(生死一如). Don’t blame anyone. Accept it as fate.. '.
.......
May 24.
Now I believe his innocence only after his suicide. He chose the most fatal way of committing suicide by jumping down to more than 100 feet high rock cliff totally breaking his skull and back to immediate death.. Only now I believe the fact that he never knew about the dirty money delivered to his family members in advance. What a shame on me.. Only now I know that this kind of distrust over his dignity made him to take the irrevocable action...

I feel really bad....bad.. devastated....... and really sorry...sorry......

Please.. God save his soul.. please..

都市悲感 City Life of just Passing By..no chance of say Hi... King-Queen-Dundas along the Bloor Street Downtown Toronto May 20 2009

People were just walking toward me with decent speed and away from me much faster as I felt.. The more people we have in town, the more anonymity we can enjoy or SUFFER whatever you prefer.. The cost we need to pay for the convenience and anonymity living in the city is sometimes bitter though not really serious. In many cases, more convenience is accompanied by more detachment from people, less chance of interaction among people.

Sometimes I need somebody to talk or laugh without maintaining any tension or tiresome attention over topic, but it's nearly impossible to find right buddy though I've been living in the city theoretically long enough time to make friends. In most case, I talk to my self, laugh inside of my heart without changing any facial muscles.. or.. start searching for good bar for beer which should be fresh enough to oppress the need of human partner..

Anyway.. sunny breeze day of yesterday was kind of perfect day of walking slowly toward twilight. More than a couple of Italian draught beers let me fully charged with pseudo-energy to look around more of the surroundings in detail while sniffing the city air deep in my breath.

Walk with Evian, Streetcar to Downtown Toronto May 20 2009

I need to pay much more money for Evian for their active image marketing, for more consumption of fossil fuel for the transportation of the water of glacier from Alpes, and for their too much over-engineered cap of the bottle. But nevertheless, oddly enough, I was carrying the red bottle for my routine walk in the town..
